The FANUC D5F1 Version 5.0 system contains a bug where specific program formats trigger an error; this issue has been resolved in subsequent versions.
Here is the solution for the FANUC error "THE WRONG DATA IS USED." This issue has been observed on system version D5F1 5.0 but not on newer versions. It can be resolved either by updating the system software or by modifying the program. The program modification method is as follows: ensure the program begins and ends with the % character, and do not omit the second line—OXXXX (the line containing the letter O followed by four digits).
Error conditions: If the program lacks "%" markers at the beginning and end, and the second line does not follow the "O + four-digit number" format, transferring the program to memory triggers a "Specified Data Error." However, this issue does not occur during DNC machining.
Two solutions exist: first, update the system software; second, adjust the program format to ensure "%" markers are included at the start and end and that the second line follows the standard "O + four-digit number" format. This bug is specific to the FANUC D5F1 Version 5.0 system (specifically the Zero-Mate MD system).
