How to Convert Metric to Imperial on CNC Control?

We are finally installing the new controller, and we would like your assistance please. Our technician has given us the following information:
"The problem with the machine is that in inches, it displays as .000, and in millimeters, it displays as .0000. When I try to move one inch, the indicator on the screen shows 10.000 to reflect one inch. The issue is that it shows inches as .000 and millimeters as .0000 on the screen."
"I understand that in other controllers, the correct display is inverted, and the idea is to find a way to invert it in the new controller."
