How to make tapered thread?
GSK980TDb Turning CNC User:
We want to make tapered thread on our lathe with GSK980TDb controller, but the code G76, R- is not working. While the G92 can do, what was wrong?
CNCmakers Support:
G76: R(i): Tapered thread, the difference of X axis starting point of the thread and the end point of the thread under absolute coordinate, the value is -99999.999～99999.999mm, radius, if the R(i) is not input, CNC will make it default R(i) = 0, so the result is only straight thread.
