How to set parameters after replacing DA98A servo driver?
Practical Procedure for Replacing an Old Servo Driver with a New One
Preparation and Wiring: Select a compatible replacement driver. "Slide" the control cables and motor cables from the old driver to the new driver according to their corresponding interfaces, ensuring accurate wiring.
Parameter Configuration (Critical Step):
After powering on, enter parameter mode via the driver panel buttons (e.g., the "PA" menu). Enter the password ("385" in the video) to unlock modification permissions.
Based on the servo motor model/signal code, modify the core parameters: set "Parameter 35" to the motor signal code to match the motor characteristics.
Adjust the motor direction, electronic gear ratio, and other operating parameters, and save the settings.
Debugging and Operation: After saving the parameters, power off and restart. Verify the motor rotation and running smoothness through a jog test. If there are no abnormalities, the replacement is complete.
