If the magnet block holder inside a CNC lathe electric tool turret is damaged, the repair method depends on whether the problem is a cracked holder, loose magnet, wear, or loss of magnet alignment. 

Magnet holder cracked or broken would cause:
Turret cannot index correctly
Continuous turret rotation
Tool position timeout alarm

Replace with the original magnet holder whenever possible
For emergency repair:
Remove old adhesive completely
Clean the mounting surface
Reinstall using industrial structural adhesive suitable for metal
Keep magnet height and position identical to the original

Do not allow adhesive to enter the sensing area.
